Patch 1.6.2 – Chinese New Year 2025!

新年好! Witch It is celebrating Year of the Snake with new CNY skins, fireworks, an exclusive icon, as well as 3 special items – read on! 🧧

2 Year of the Snake Skins!

Adorn yourself in two ssslithering new items – the Lucky Snake Head for hunters, and the Wood Snake Headpiece for witches! 🐍

How do I obtain Year of the Snake items?

Opening Witch It during the Chinese New Year 2025 event will grant you 30 "Fireworks"!
A Firework contains a random Chinese New Year item (including CNY items from previous years), which can only be opened by combining them with "Gunpowder". 💥

To earn Gunpowder, fill up the Item Cauldron with 250 experience points. You can see the item cauldron fill up at the end of the round, on the level up screen.

Gunpowder has a 50% chance of being earned on any Official server once the item cauldron is filled. If you're lucky enough to earn one, head back to the main menu and press 'Chinese New Year' to combine it with a Firework! 🎆

Every Chinese New Year item earned through Fireworks are tradable and craftable even after the event is over. If you use up all your FIreworks, you can craft more by combining 5 Gunpowder together!
Note: Gunpowder can only be obtained in Official servers.

You can also receive the new items through:
- Random drops from filling up the item cauldron at the end of a round.
- Trading with other players (we recommend using our Discord server to find traders).

Year of the Snake Player Icon!

Celebrate the New Year with the limited time “Year of the Snake” player icon! ✨

Play at least one round of Witch It in an Official server during the Chinese New Year 2025 event to earn the icon, but don’t miss out – the icon will never return once the event is over!
